Is there a better or more comprehensive history of the submarine war in the Pacific than "Silent Victory" by Clay Blair? I have also read Ned Beach's "Submarine!", VADM Lockwoods "Sink 'Em All". and several others along the way.Slightly related topic: I know Beach wrote a trilogy of submarine novels ("Run Silent, Run Deep", "Dust On The Sea", "Cold is the Sea"). I seem to remember reading a juvenille novel about submarines written by Beach. Was there such a book?
