 Sail configuration of Guardfish

Good afternoon,

I'm curious, does anyone know what Guardfish's appearance was like during her firstwar patrol off of Northeast Honshu? Specifically, how much, if any, of her sail was cut down? I'm curious about how quickly the newer fleet boats were cut down and modified in general, and since Guardfish is my favorite boat, and the huge Revell 1/72nd scale Gato will be released soon, I thought I'd ask away about her in particular.

She seems to be a tough boat to research. Even my old stomping grounds at the National Archives had little in the way of wartime photographs compared with some of her contemporaries, although its been awhile since I've been back. Given the publicity that surrounded her return from that first patrol, one would think there would be photographs somewhere, but I can't find them.
